Cambria days...were always lazy days, unscripted and spontaneous...days when all we really needed was to get away from the rat race long enough to catch our breath

Cambria, California, and the surrounding San Luis Obispo county coastline, is a great getaway for lovers - including beach lovers, nature lovers, and anyone who just needs a little breather.

A city with no "cookie-cutter" tract housing and no mega-chain stores, Cambria is a place where life slows down to the pace of living, beauty inspires art, creativity flourishes, and craftsmanship still counts.

We believe everyone needs to get away, to sit on a bench or a rock overlooking the surf, feel the ocean breeze on their face, breathe in the salt air, take a barefoot walk along the beach and feel the crunch-crunch-crunch of the tiny ocean pebbles underfoot, and forget about the boss and the bills and

life's pressures and problems. Everyone needs a Cambria day once in awhile!

CambriaDays.com was launched June 1st 2009, and is intended to promote appreciation for the therapeutic power of the ocean and the beach, and the creative endeavors inspired by the coastal life. This includes art, architecture, landscaping, decorating, and more.

But in addition to all that, a "Cambria Day" means taking a day off to hike, rest, enjoy nature, and breathe fresh air - no matter where that is!
